Combining two great decor pieces!
I don’t think it’d be possible to decorate, organize or store anything without shelving. So what a great idea it is to combine two functional and stylish pieces – room dividers and shelves!
Whether you use your room divider as an actual divider or just an accent piece to your home decor, adding shelves is easy and a great way to double up on the functionality.
I found several options of room dividers with shelving available just at StacksAndStacks.com. I love the room dividers with shelves in between the panels. It’s such a great way to showcase some of your favorite stuff or collections. This room divider has 4 shelves, however, if you are handy, it would be really easy to add more shelves to it.
This is another fun room divider option that offers extra storage and not just shelves! This has shelves, hangers and a magazine rack. This is a very functional piece that will work great in rooms that you need to reduce clutter in rather than just hiding clutter behind it. Organize your hats, books, magazines, belts, necklaces or scarves quickly and efficiently.
This room divider shelf I mentioned in my last blog, but it is such a great idea I have to mention it again. It is the perfect way to showcase your favorite items, books and collections while still dividing up the room or area in your home. While this picture shows it a little bare, you could easily stack your books in each shelf cubby and the visibility through the shelves would be eliminated.
While I’ve only listed three different room dividers, there are many more to shop through. And as I mentioned earlier, you can add shelves to almost any multi-panel room divider – just remember – you will not be able to use the hinges like normal unless the shelves are removable.
I’d love to read about your favorite room dividers with shelves or without. Have any questions? I’m sure someone here can help you resolve any room divider quandaries you may be experiencing!

As a fan of privacy, I know the perfect room divider can not only add that extra sense of time to self but also enhance the decorum of any household. Check out our selection of room dividers at Stacks and Stacks: http://www.stacksandstacks.com/room-dividers/388-1/

Those are great suggestions and selections, Kay-c! With so many diverse dividers available, I almost wish I could go back in time to my roommate days and make people jealous of the eye-catching room diver I would pick from STACK AND STACKS!
