What a beautiful idea this is, a room divider with a canvas print photograph of the gorgeous New York City skyline! The Skyline Folding Screen is one like no other I have ever seen, and I just love the idea that you can bring that beautiful skyline into your home no matter where you live. This is a great idea for people who have once lived in and loved New York but had to move for some reason - what a great way to remind them of their treasured city! Another reason you might like to have this beautiful and unique room divider in your home is if you live in New York City but don’t happen to have a natural view of the skyline from the inside of your home. This way you can enjoy it just like someone who has a penthouse downtown. The Empire State Building reaches high on the middle panel of this room divider, just like you would see if you were strolling down the streets of Manhattan yourself! This cool room divider takes the concept of “urban chic” to whole new levels, since you can bring an urban skyline right into your home! The canvas stretched structure is very sturdy - this is a great room screen for the living room or dining room - somewhere where your guests can enjoy the view as well. It also folds almost flat for storage and is easy to move around from room to room.

A Built In Room Divider is a great alternative to traditional folding room screens.
When we think of room dividers, we usually think of a three or four panel screen with a wooden frame. Some are shoji screens, some are made of metal, some fabric, some painted, and some not. But, I came across a nice alternative to these traditional screens, it’s sort of a hybrid between room dividers and sliding doors. The Jamaica folding door is a room divider that can be built into a large door opening. This is the place where you would put in French doors to separate the living room from the dining room, or bedroom from the kitchen in smaller spaces, but a folding screen is much more affordable than a costly remodel. It fits a variety of door sizes, since it is folding, and is easy to install – simply lay the track and voila! It also gives a bit more privacy than French doors (unless you put curtains over them), because it is a solid panel. It is available in several colors and features a magnetic closure, so even children can seal it. This is a great way to separate a small or large home, giving privacy and solitude to any space, while still allowing the flow of the home to exist. It can keep some sound out, great for the opening to a TV or family room, yet still allows the family to come in and out without much interruption. If you have a small area that you would like to use as an office, but it is too near the traffic of the home, this is also a great way to give you that privacy you need.
